CHURCH OF GOD OF PROPHECY TANZANIA

The Theme of  this year's National Leadership Development Conference was "...That NONE should Perish....". The event run Concurrently with our 3rd Graduation Ceremony of our Bible Learning Center (BLC) which took place from 26th to 28th October,2007.Special guests to the three events which included a National Rally were Bishop Sherman Allen, General Presbyter for Africa and Bishop Cyril Odendo, who is the National Overseer for nation of Kenya, a member of Africa Administrative Committee and East Africa Area Cordinator.

The three events ushered a very wide vision for the national ministry.About twenty core national leaders comprising of District Overseers,Pastors and ministry leaders set together for the three months of learning and studing.The five Foundation Courses ( Fiftly Joined Together,Bible, Ministry Policy,Spiritual Formation and History of Christianity ) offered by center for Biblical Leadership of the Church of God of Prophecy International offices were carefully taught/studed.Church Planting, Leadership and Evangelism were also taught during the three months of seating together of our core leaders has extensively brought a deep concern for the lost souls.

The national director of evangelism was able to cordinate with district overseers his endeavors in evangelising the nation and Church planting strategies.They were able to form a " NATIONAL STRATEGY FOR EVANGELISM AND CHURCH PLANTING" .The nation has been divided into five zones with the leadership from regional level to the lowest level effected at village point. This is in effort to reach the nation with the Gospel of our Lord with urgency.Evangelists and Teachers have been appointed at all different levels.

Another phenominon they came up with was the national financial independence which was far amplified during the National Rally presided by Bishop Cyrill Odendo and our General presbyter Sherman Allen.Members and leaders in one accord agreed with what was brought to the rally the plan which was birthed during the International Leadership comference in Accra Ghana this was the plan of self-sufficiency in the continent of Africa which was introduced for the first time in Tanzania.
